Harrah's is the big winner in the Casino Player's Best of Gaming Awards

Harrah's won the most awards in Casino Player's Best of Gaming Awards for the sixth year in a row. People from all over the United States voted in Casino Player magazine's yearly poll. The final tally was 869 awards, a 47 percent increase from last year.

"Best Overall Hotel Casino" was awarded to Harrah's five casinos, Casino Windsor, Horseshoe Bossier City, Harrah's Council Bluffs, Harrah's Laughlin and Harrah's Lake Tahoe. The company also won for "Best Slot Club" in different regions such as Las Vegas, Atlantic City and the hurricane-stricken New Orleans.

Harrah's Entertainment acquired Caesars Entertainment's 18 casinos last year, which helped them win 141 awards including Best Headliner in Las Vegas courtesy of Celine Dion.

Harrah's is the world's largest provider of branded casino entertainment and possesses over 4 million square feet of casino space.
