Tribe will expand its Casino

The Stillaguamish Tribe operates the Angel of the Winds Casino in Arlington, Washington. The 175-member tribe plans to expand the casino by 15 000 square feet in order to include 220 more slot machines. The increase in space will create more jobs in the casino.

The tribe initially wanted to build a much larger casino but did not get approval from state officials. Since opening in 2004, the casino has generated $30 million. The new expansion project will cost about $10 million.
